What it actually does
Magic Klick by EASYmaxx is a set of two black insect nets, each 150 x 130 cm, that you cut to size with household scissors. The net is not glued or screwed but held magnetically: twelve magnet modules click onto the edge of the net, and twelve self-adhesive metal plates go on the inside of the window frame. No drilling is needed, which the manufacturer says suits rented flats. The window still opens and closes as usual. Price at Die moderne Hausfrau CH: CHF 19.95. Note that three shop ratings average only 1.67 stars.
Reasons for
- No drilling, window still opens
- Two nets per set
- Cut to size with scissors
Reasons against
- Only 1.67 stars from three ratings
- Cutting and fitting required
- Adhesive plates on the frame
Who should skip it
If you want a permanent, made-to-measure solution with a frame, a cut-to-size net held by adhesive plates and magnets will probably disappoint. It also won't fit windows larger than 150 x 130 cm. Take the poor average rating of 1.67 stars seriously before buying.

Frequently asked questions
What window size does it fit?
Each of the two nets measures 150 x 130 cm, which the manufacturer gives as the maximum window size. Smaller windows mean cutting it down.
Do I have to drill?
No. The twelve metal plates stick to the inside of the frame with their adhesive backing; the net clicks onto them magnetically.
How much is the set and where is it sold?
At Die moderne Hausfrau CH, a Swiss shop, for CHF 19.95 for two nets. No discount is listed.
