What it actually does
The Go Up Basic shopping trolley by Playmarket is meant, according to the manufacturer, to replace carrying shopping bags. It has a waterproof main bag with a removable, washable inner bag and a buckle closure, plus a 10 l thermal bag. The description contradicts itself on main bag capacity, giving both 45.5 l and 39.5 l. The frame is aluminium, the foam-covered handle is height-adjustable. EVA wheels; the double front wheels swivel 360 degrees, pull it on two wheels or push on four. Side reflectors, maximum load 30 kg. Price CHF 153.55 at Die moderne Hausfrau CH, shipping CHF 0.00.
Reasons for
- Waterproof bag, washable inner bag
- 10 l thermal bag
- Light aluminium frame, swivel front wheels
- Shipping CHF 0.00
Reasons against
- Contradictory litre figures
- CHF 153.55 is not cheap
Who should skip it
If you only make small trips on foot, a plain bag is cheaper; CHF 153.55 is a lot of money. Anyone regularly carrying more than 30 kg exceeds the maximum load. And if you expect reliable volume figures, the contradictory litre numbers will bother you.
