What it actually does
The GHZ-Matra massage mat lies on a sofa or floor and is used sitting or lying down. According to the manufacturer it has ten vibration motors across four zones: neck, back, hips and buttocks/thighs. A wired remote (1.80 m cable) selects five massage types, three intensities and an optional heat function; LEDs show the running programme. A timer switches the mat off after 15 minutes, or 30 minutes with heat. Die moderne Hausfrau CH sells it for CHF 99.95 plus CHF 6.95 delivery, in black only. All programmes rely on vibration, not mechanical kneading.
Reasons for
- Four zones controlled individually
- Heat function can be added
- Timer with automatic shut-off
- Soft jersey cover
Reasons against
- Vibration only, no kneading mechanism
- Remote is wired, not wireless
- No dimensions or weight given
Who should skip it
If you expect a real kneading or shiatsu massage with rotating heads, this mat only vibrates. The retailer gives no dimensions, weight or load limit, so tall or heavy users should be cautious. It is no substitute for treatment of acute pain.
