What it actually does
The HandyLux SlimBright by Mediashop is a cordless LED bar with a motion sensor and magnetic mount. According to the manufacturer it is extra long and extremely flat, so it fits inside drawers. The shop lists it at 23.5 cm long, 3.8 cm wide and 0.6 cm high, with a grey ABS housing. Because it attaches magnetically and needs no cable, it can be mounted and moved without drilling. The manufacturer calls the LEDs ultra-bright, but the listing gives no figures for brightness, power supply or run time. Sold by Die moderne Hausfrau CH for CHF 24.95.
Reasons for
- Cordless, no drilling needed
- Built-in motion sensor
- Only 0.6 cm high
Reasons against
- No battery or brightness figures
- Only three ratings so far
Who should skip it
If you want a permanently installed light with a mains connection, this is not it. Anyone who needs to know run time or actual brightness before buying will find no such figures in the listing and should check elsewhere first.
