What it actually does
The “Rückstandsfrei” (residue-free) window cleaner from genialo is a trend gadget from the Swiss shop Die moderne Hausfrau CH. According to the manufacturer, the handle holds up to 200 ml of cleaning liquid, so the liquid sits directly in the tool and window washing should become less tedious. Whether the result is really residue-free we cannot judge. The tool is white, 24.5 cm long, 28 cm wide and 6.5 cm high. The shop lists silicone, polypropylene, polyurethane and polyethylene as materials. So far there is a single rating of 3.0 stars, which says very little.
Reasons for
- Handle holds up to 200 ml
- Liquid stored inside the tool
- Swiss shop, prices in CHF
Reasons against
- Only one rating, 3.0 stars
- Residue-free claim unverified
Who should skip it
If a squeegee and a bucket already work for you, there is no need for another cleaning tool. Anyone who wants solid user feedback before buying should wait: one rating of 3.0 stars tells you almost nothing, and we have no detailed handling information.
